Wow that all seems abit unbelievable to me. there is no actual proof he was ever in the balloon and will probably be found hiding somewher to avoid getting into trouble. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Charlene1980 (talkcontribs)

After watching the video of the dad answering questions to the media, I have no doubt in my mind that this was a publicity stunt to sell his balloon. He spent more time talking about his "experimental balloon in early stages of design" than the relief of his son being safe. Just think of the cost for the rescue attempt ie: National Guard, airlines redirecting air traffic, and the ground support. All for free publicity. This should be fraud on the father, a criminal offense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.121.220.224 (talk) 00:37, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Effective search[edit]

It seems Holmsean to conduct a search based on the possibility that the kid might not have been in the balloon at all. From the article, it sounds like the police led an effective search. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.250.126 (talk) 02:06, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
