Not implausible

Of course the opposition party in Australia would say negative things about the idea; that's pretty much their job; and it's not really a surprise to hear a Muslim-majority country criticizing it either — but this doesn't seem an entirely hopeless approach. Between the carrot and stick, Israel is already getting plenty of stick from the international community; offering them a carrot, by insinuating the idea of a two-state solution into a positive gesture, doesn't seem altogether daft. Indonesia's response could be taken as trying to leave room for that to have its chance.

What makes you think this is not a hopeless approach? And actually listening to that one incompetent Scott Morrison--oh that unfit PM makes Narendra Modi to be a good PM.
