This is a message from the Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics.

While we are honoured that WIKINEWS has made this piece of information available we hereby draw attention to the fact that the phrase "was founded at the Department of English at the University of Vienna" could give rise to the assumption that the association is in fact part of the University of Vienna itself. However, this piece of information potentially inferred from this stretch of language by international readers cannot be supported by internal or external written evidence and is simply not true.

The Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics requests that the article be edited by Friday, 19 May 2017, 23:59, so as to avoid this unintended misrepresentation of our research platform.
