I dislike this event and I hope it never happens again.

There's far, far too much hatred in the world. People celebrating not being part of that, in whatever form it takes, is good.

But I’m Christian.

1. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
2. "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
3. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged."
4. "Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it."

I assume you condemn consumption of alcohol as well. "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery."

Do you believe a female exists only to help the males? "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him."

Or seriously believe Eve was made out of ribs? Christianity is anything but a feminist religion -- the Bible says "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord."

Or do you believe in staying in an abusive relationship rather than divorcing, and finding a better partner? "Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery."

Or do you allow a rapist to marry the girl in exchange for 50 shekels of silver? "If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives."

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
