No tie-in for Burma?[edit]

China has all the same agreements that support the crisis in Burma. So, it's an easy two'fer. I know i'm boycotting these games. I'm only one guy, but if that is the only thing I've got, I'm using it! 205.210.225.100 20:51, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an absurd stance by Spielberg. Boycotting because of things happening in another country on the other side of the world??? I agree completely with Hoj. It is true China could be doing a lot more for many countries, and so could everyone else, especially the US, who has the largest GDP of any country, and contributes the 20th highest amount of Foreign aid per GNI, from a total of 22 aid giving countries. So, why is Spielberg using the Olympic Games as a political stunt against China, when his own country, the US, is in a far better financial position to help out Sudan??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.49.181.37 (talk) 02:53, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
