I love the Anti-Americanism/Anti-Bush, but I'm wonder if Obama got hit with a shoe would all you liberals be so soft on criminal?--KDP3 (talk) 04:42, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The same ones that so much prized "democracy" and did everything to "export" it, are the ones that show that they cannot cope with the criticism, insults and other episodes that come with it. They should go to Zimbabwe. They'll love Mugabe. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.242.244.155 (talkcontribs)
If someone throws a shoe at Obama then thats different, Obama didnt fuck things up like Bush did. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.100.25.133 (talkcontribs)

Shoe-throwing insult[edit]

While we consider this act an insult of the highest order, we would at least protect this man with our freedom of speech and expression. To beat the shoe-thrower, as the Iraqi police reportedly did, is reprehensible.

President Bush had the good sense to immediately call off our Secret Service in order to allow the local police to handle the situation thus preventing any further acts of intolerance toward the "occupying Americans"

I am like many other Americans who are disturbed by much of the president's decisions regarding Iraq, but I applaud his having the presence-of-mind under duress in dealing with this matter. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.251.227.152 (talkcontribs)

Beaten? Not cool, who on this planet would feel good about beating someone who spoke up against one of the most disgraceful faces in politics since Hitler? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.75.189.29 (talkcontribs)
