large scale mortality[edit]

Are there specialists out there who could offer some evaluation of the likeliness of this virus to result in human mortality on a larger scale? Governmental sources always keep in mind mass hysteria prevention, therefore I am not sure if a full picture and forecasts are presented. Comments on this news from professionals would be greatly appreciated. 65.160.28.32 00:04, 25 April 2009 (UTC) Emil[reply]

As an average person, and not an epidemiologist nor a medical specialist or anything of the sort, I would say that since people died already, that if it were to spread on a larger scale, more people would die... Since the people who have died are mostly between mid-20's to mid-40's, it'd be like the Spanish Flu in the victims chosen... 76.66.196.218 14:20, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
