It's a spider

It looks like[edit]

It looks more like, to me, a bug on the lens. --Nzgabriel | Talk 11:02, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ever see a rotating glowing bug? (lightening bugs flash) DragonFire1024 11:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, a friend told me his first thought was its a fairy DragonFire1024 21:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a leaf[edit]

To me, it looks like a leaf sliding down, shining in bright sun light. Perhaps a maple leaf? Vlad 193.179.41.248 12:45, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How is this news?[edit]

Articles like this are not of the caliber I expect from news sources, and having this posted degrades the reputability of Wikienews. Motoma 16:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tick would be much more plausible, walking over the lens. Being small enough to be near transparent, plus the quality of the video is low, and they can turn corners.

IT'S A GHOST!!1![edit]

How does this deserve to be an article? CXC 71.233.84.173 18:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cottonwood fluff[edit]

It really does look like a piece of dust or fluff floating in the wind. Note that if it were a few inches across and glowing, it should make a reflection on the shiny police car, but there isn't any. From the angle of the shadows, the sun is probably in the general direction the camera is pointing, but out of shot above and to the left. The light blemishes all over the image are probably scratches in a plexi covering over the security camera, which are catching light from the sun. Note that the "light" is accompanies by a shadow to its lower right as it moves. This suggests to me that the object is casting a small shadow on the plexiglass covering as it passes by, so it is very small, and very close to the camera.

My goodness, the Police in Santa Fe must have a lot of time on their hands! 62.64.202.184 18:35, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
