Absurd. The members of this town ought to be hanged. 68.161.189.80Adam F.

wow[edit]

when a small town can charge Bush with war crimes but not the very people that kill the innocents in Iraq and else were. Got to love liberal minded people--169.139.1.20 13:01, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree 100%, impeach them and put them on trial not only for war crimes but for treason also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.130.136.208 (talk) 13:16, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Laughable.[edit]

See the above. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.241.147.121 (talk) 13:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On what charge?[edit]

The big problem with this, outside of the problem of Presidential immunity: What crime did Bush commit in Vermont? The resolution doesn't say. Perhaps the Pacific coast isn't the most radical-left area of the country. --Kitch 17:17, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

YES![edit]

"Officials in Brattelboro have stated that this is merely a symbolic vote, as the town and its law enforcement officers lack the power to arrest the President."

The hell they do! Let's DO THIS!!!

"What crime did Bush commit in Vermont?"

Even if you ignore the fact that Vermont taxpayer dollars were spent prosecuting an unconstitutional war, who cares? If these crimes took place, and nobody else is going to step up and call our leaders to account, my gosh, somebody's got to do it! -161.88.255.240 18:28, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Town in Vermont charging Bush with war Crimes[edit]

I have always though of Vermont as one of the most beautiful and enlightened states in the union. This story, of Brattleboro, confirms my fair impressions. This community has led the way in charging president Bush, VP Cheney with war crimes (and their systematic attempt to destroy our great Republic) and I hope other communities will follow the lead of the bold and noble citizens of Brattleboro, Vermont. God smiles on you all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.230.220.26 (talk) 12:35, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heh[edit]

"Officials in Brattelboro have stated that this is merely a symbolic vote, as the town and its law enforcement officers lack the power to arrest the President."

That is an awesome quote. Brattelboro sounds like an awesome town to be in.

I've signed many petitions to have The Bush administration Arrested[edit]

I've created and signed many petitions to hold the current administration, his Daddies, and Clinton's administration responsible for war crimes. 501 people died from Clinton and his lackey Janet Reno.
