Russian woman "eaten alive" by pigs

On February 1, a 56 year old, unidentified Russian woman suffered a seizure and collapsed in a pig pen, where she was later found dead by her husband with her face, shoulders and ears completely eaten. The death is believed to have been caused by blood loss, and was noticed until the morning as the husband had gone to bed early due to not feeling well. This happened in a farm in a village near the Malopurginsky district of Udmurtia, and was reported by Russian media and Sky News on February 8.

According to media reports, a deeper investigation into this event has been launched.
