Capitalization

[edit]

please don't capitalize every word in the title. Otherwise, looks like a cool topic. Nyarlathotep 21:25, 24 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Country is not necessary?

Research methodology?

[edit]

Some questions:

  • Why was this reaserach carried out?
  • Does it have policy influence?
  • Expected figures? Long-term trends?
The article has potential to be quite interesting. I found the results interesting. I have tidied it up a little, let me know what you think - Cartman02au 09:48, 23 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
Cartman02au: good edits. I added one more section about the definition of proficiency. I think it is ready to be published now, but I didn't want to do it myself since I am relatively new to wikinews and I don't know enough about what the standard for publication is. Also, the date in bold on the top of the article should be changed to match whatever date it is actually published on I think. Alex Krupp 17:03, 23 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Published

[edit]

I have published the article as I feel it is ready.

Alex, I found the best way to get a feel for Wikinews is to spend some time reading other's articles - it gives a good insight into how things work. When you do contrubute and feel something is not quite ready leave it as develop and someone else will usually tidy it or publish it.

The most difficult thing to do on Wikinews is to keep neutral. Cartman02au 09:21, 25 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Put back into development

[edit]

What nation? Wikinews is not an American website, it's global. --MateoP 18:42, 25 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I changed the title. Bawolff ☺☻ 01:28, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

floated TOC

[edit]

I floated the ToC right because I think it looks cool. Revert if you don't like. Bawolff ☺☻ 22:40, 25 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Wow! That is cool, I didn't know you could do that.  :) Nyarlathotep 00:37, 26 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
If they have a long heading you can also use max-width. see Business Brief for December 16, 2005 Bawolff ☺☻ 23:08, 30 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
