"he doesn’t have to followed them" -> "he doesn’t have to follow them" Wikisoup 18:58, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"Last question: what trait do you deplore in people" -> could this be in a new section (it's still under Gun Rights)? Wikisoup 19:03, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Fixed first; thanks. If you feel comfortable, you are welcome to fix obvious mistakes yourself. I'm not that protective of editing these and really, their words are cleaned up and aren't posted verbatim (and trust me, they are appreciative) - see here for further explanation about that, if you are interested. Regarding sections headings; they are more for navigation. I will move those up to background, but you might notice that not all the questions falling under a heading fit under that heading. They are more for general themes, and so people can skip through very long interviews to topics they are interested in. But good call. --David Shankbone 19:06, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, great thanks. I didn't know it wasn't verbatim. Will still post here for anything more than a small grammar or spelling fix. Wikisoup 19:19, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, as long as you don't change the meaning of what is said, spelling and grammar are perfectly fine (and I thank you - and so do the interviewees! I've heard more than once, "You made me sound smart!"). --David Shankbone 19:21, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"So the only option they have under this decision is for the doctor to leave the operating room and run to court to get an injunction because the Supreme Court said—the Court acknowledged that in the opinion and said but those women can bring in an “As Applied” challenge, that they aren’t going to strike down the entire statute on its face." ... the part after the dash is awkward, but I don't know how or if it should be changed. Perhaps this: "So the only option they have under this decision is for the doctor to leave the operating room and run to court to get an injunction. The Supreme Court acknowledged that in the opinion and said those women can bring an “As Applied” challenge, that they aren’t going to strike down the entire statute on its face." --David Shankbone 19:38, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, better, but the "in the opinion" bit is still awkward I think. It could be removed and still make sense, though I don't know if it would still have the same meaning it was intended to have. Wikisoup 19:56, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misspelt[edit]

Paragraph 3, last sentence, 'despise' should be despite. - Amgine | t 20:29, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bah, no it shouldn't. - Amgine | t 20:30, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
