Breaking News?[edit]

Why is this story "breaking news"? Did wikinews display the original bombthreat story as prominently as this, and is helping ease RyanAir's experience with this? Or does wikipedia have some, how do I say, corporate interests? Or am I asking unecessary questions?

It was breaking news at first because the initial story was the threat, not the hoax...the hoax was reported later on. Jason Safoutin 09:16, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to sign this: 70.68.251.237 03:11, 13 April 2006 (UTC); Big Luke[reply]

Wikinews has no corporate interests; the fact of the matter was the hoax is big news. Not much behind the reasoning for making it breaking. Consider that some people are very afraid of bombs and it's a big deal to them even though it's not a big deal to you. irid:t 03:14, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i wonder if any of the passengers will blog this...?

Hi, the picture on the page is not of Glasgow Prestwick Aiport (PIK), it is of Glasgow International Aiprort (GLA), I am not sure how to change it so I wonder if someone could change it. 84.12.71.113 14:07, 14 April 2006 (UTC) 15:06 14 April 2006 (BST)[reply]
