Do we have any categories for scouting or similar organizations? How about gender politics? What I really want to say is 1) "The Girl Scouts have a reputation of being politically liberal and the Boy Scouts of being politically conservative, and that figures into it like THIS" 2) "It's the GSA's own fault for boring the pants off everyone with that stupid Journey book project." I did a cursory search for "Boy Scout", and we could probably create a new category for scouting generally. Gender politics could fit in with the broad category of politics and conflicts. Hopefully I didn't cause an edit conflict, I didn't realize you were still actively editing. —mikemoral (talk) 04:37, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
Sounds great, Mike M. Do we retroactively admit articles to categories? I could memory-tag this one for if a Scouting tag is ever made.  ::I found sufficient sourcing to do a version of item 1 and item 2 is proooobably more me ranting than actual "journalism," soooo... Darkfrog24 (talk)
The biggest single task in creating a category is populating it with all relevant articles in our (currently about 21k article) archives. --Pi zero (talk) 03:24, 13 October 2017 (UTC)

Gotta say I'm disappointed on this one. I guess I could see if there are any new commentaries we could use to refocus, another letter from the GSA, perhaps. Or we could cryo-store it until the first dens are formed, probably September. Darkfrog24 (talk) 13:35, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
