Gun wars[edit]

By allowing the general population access to automatic weapons these types of violent crimes will be difficult to reduce. Americans need to try a different way that will ultimately help everyone exercise their rights without affecting others Jenztaf (talk) 19:16, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A good comment, but next time, you might want to throw it up on the 'Opinions' page (see above). --Bddpaux (talk) 19:34, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I usually don't.......[edit]

.....get terribly emotional about things that don't enter into my 'personal circle' but this happened 1 hour and 32 minutes (by car) from my front door. Man, that's scary. Anyway, this is a pretty big story.....can anyone else jump in and help? --Bddpaux (talk) 19:36, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Atlantic source....is kind of set up as a 'feed', so that 'date' for it may change......there's a lot of real time stuff happening there....but I'm dating it as today. --Bddpaux (talk) 21:41, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Bddpaux: I would try to complete it as soon as possible. I have one news article pending, after that I will continue with this one.

@Bddpaux: I've done my best to help with the article as well. Keithman3 (talk) 19:57, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Review of revision 4232023 [Passed][edit]

@Pi zero: Al Jazeera's Heidi Zhou-Castro, reporting from Dallas, said it was "the worst attack on law enforcement officers in the United States" since the September 11 attacks in 2001. "It is a different Dallas altogether this morning as people awoke to this tragic news," she said.
Though BBC also mentions it, Al Jazeera 's correspond said the same thing.

I didn't see that in the source. Either way, it'd be a direct quote from a news org. --Pi zero (talk) 11:05, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
