@Michael.C.Wright: Even though I am not subscribed to The New York Times, it is not under a paywall. I have fixed the rest of the issues and will resubmit. TheNuggeteer (talk) 04:34, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi @TheNuggeteer New York Times is considered as paywalled because after I visit a few pages it asks to sign in and subscribe. It has to be removed from sources, along with any information from it, unless a replacement source is available for that information. Gryllida 07:51, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
NYT now removed. @Gryllida, @TheNuggeteer BigKrow (talk) 11:47, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Please remove information from New York Times also, @BigKrow. There is at least two sentences, probably more, that relied on that source. Gryllida 18:53, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Merz quote

[edit]

The article currently includes the following sentence:

Friedrich Merz, Germany's chancellor, said that "I think it's a scandal that this [the removal of Israel from Eurovision] is even being discussed," adding that "I can't see us returning as long as Israel is involved."

This doesn't make any sense. As the first part of the quote indicates, Merz supports including Israel in Eurovision. The second part of the quote claims that he would not want Germany to participate if Israel is involved. Please re-check the sources as this sentence contradicts itself. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 15:49, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
