Clarification: What I couldn't confirm was that the earlier incident, for which the police were going to arrest him, had taken place inside a home. --Pi zero (talk) 16:08, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Kirkheaton and Huddersfield

[edit]

A question has arisen concerning whether "Kirkheaton, Huddersfield" is correct, i.e., whether Kirkheaton is part of Huddersfield. In this regard, I note from the sources that BBC describes it as "Kirkheaton, Huddersfield", while Sky News describes it as "the Kirkheaton area of Huddersfield". This does not mean the usage is correct, of course. --Pi zero (talk) 10:51, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I've been offered a most satisfactory explanation of the discrepancy: lazy journalists lumping a small village into the nearest larger locality. Works for me. --Pi zero (talk) 13:00, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
