Hello! Can I know what is this? I have been working on the article already. In the meanwhile other story is written ignoring the fact that same story is being written which is visible in the Newsroom. Pi zero please tell me what to do? Should I write the article or leave it?

Salutations! This is a sport article about Leicester City's fairytale triumph in winning the Premier League. I started writing this yesterday. This is my first attempt at writing an article, so it may have some issues.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Handraulic (talkcontribs)

It was still being improved after submission for review. So, should I work or not? Should the article be merged or not? What about it?

I don't see why there should be two articles. Wikinews stipulates that before one creates an article, one should check that it has not been written or started already by checking the Main page and Newsroom. Did you check to see that the article wasn't already being written before you created your one?

@Agastya Chandrakant: Obviously, we want to support newcomers such as Handraulic, helping them along as much as we can. A complication is that this article has some visible problems simply because written by someone who is new; I can't know right now whether I would be able to fix all problems during review and publish on the first review. I probably won't be able to review anything for three to four hours from now; is it possible you could merge your material into this article, in something like that time? They do have different emphasis, this one on the big picture, yours on the details of the match. Then if this one doesn't work out I'd have to decide whether this can be fixed promptly or whether I should review (and probably publish) the other one in order to get something out the door sooner rather than later. As an alternative, in theory it's not impossible to have two articles focused on the same event, if they're focused on sufficiently different aspects of it, but it can be tricky to make that work in practice, and Handraulic is a newcomer, after all. --Pi zero (talk) 11:00, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Taken into account. Almost done. Just delete the page that I created, but LCFC is yet not *crowned* so please move it to Leicester City wins first Premier League as Spurs and Chelsea held for 2-2 draw.
