Original reporting[edit]

Earlier today, I sent the following message to Police Scotland on their website: "I am a contributor to the Internet news service Wikinews. Earlier this morning, reports emerged from the Island News and Advertiser's Facebook page of an RTC on the A865 between Clachan and Carinish earlier today [2013-07-09], described by the newspaper as 'serious'. I was wondering if I could get a statement or any further comment from you about this incident.

Any timely response would be greatly appreciated."

I have yet to receive any response to this query. I will update when this changes. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 12:01, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have now sent a similar query to the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. I have yet to receive any response. No further details are available at this time. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 12:40, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Still yet to receive any response from any of the three aforementioned agencies. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 17:58, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Still no response from the agencies contacted. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 06:34, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I received a response from the media team in Aberdeen at 0925 BST (0825 UTC) today, asking me to contact a communications team in Inverness. In the last few minutes, I have just emailed them with a similar message to the one above [adapted for dates]. At the time of writing, no response has been received. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 15:38, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The response I got from the Inverness email was to go to the HISCG website, which I've already done for this story. --Rayboy8 (my talk) (my contributions) 15:51, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
