Leading paragraph[edit]

Reading

"Maroochydore have picked up their first win of the season with a 27 points to 15 win over University in round 5 of Australia's Sunshine Coast Rugby Union 2021 season."

Some words are not familiar in this text.

Suggesting that maybe like this could read better (start with rugby and country in first 3-5 words):

"in round 5 of Australia's Sunshine Coast Rugby Union 2021 season, Maroochydore have picked up their first win of the season with a 27 points to 15 win over University."

or maybe even (clarify what University means):

In round 5 of Australia's Sunshine Coast Rugby Union 2021 season, Maroochydore have picked up their first win of the season with a 27 points to 15 win over University -- University of the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union Club -- in Queensland, Australia.

Or something. Regards, --Gryllida (talk) 03:52, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

I've made a change that blends the two suggestions. Does it read as something acceptable? --RockerballAustralia contribs 03:59, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Much better now. Thank you! Gryllida (talk) 04:33, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

Original reporting[edit]

The Original Reporting is the interviews. They are available on commons at

Here is the full video of the game as recorded by me – Maroochydore v University – 2021 Sunshine Coast Rugby Union A grade round 5. I am uncertain as to whether I should put the link directly in to the article myself as it may be considered self promotion. —-RockerballAustralia contribs 20:31, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
As we did with the previous article of yours -- any source that is used for the article NEEDS to be cited. How is it self-promo, if you have recorded it, you have recorded the interview too, right? Imagine the match video was just a non-free recording you could not upload to commons.

Also note the game was played Saturday May 1. —RockerballAustralia contribs 20:31, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
For all I can see, on Facebook, the post is made on May 1, and says they won yesterday. You need to find some other source, or mention it under the OR notes about it, if no source mentions it.

What I'm seeing on my end is Maroochudore source was posted at 9:20 am local time on 2 May (11:20 pm on May 1 UTC) and mentions the word "yesterday". USC source posted 19:21 pm May 1 local time (9:21 am May 1 UTC).
A source I would've cited if I listed if I mentioned other results can be found here. --RockerballAustralia contribs 05:08, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
