I have begun the rticle - the spelling isn't that great and neither is the structure but, I have done the research (see references) and, I have begun - can someone help? Symode09 17:58, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Of course: what else is wiki for :-).--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 18:33, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
sources and dates
[edit]The sources section is littered with bad dates. Many of them are May 1, tomorrow. I guess this should be expected from a Symode09 article. --SVTCobra 23:14, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- I tidied the messy sources section. Didn't notice any copy-vio or plagurism, but keep an eye out. --SVTCobra 23:37, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- The dates are correct - I am in australia - I am 12 hours ahead of you! —Symode09 00:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'd say you are light-years ahead of me. Anyways, we try to stay on WikiTime here aka UTC. In lieu of that we might resort to the source's local time. If what you claim is the way you think things should be reported, why didn't you date your article May 1? --SVTCobra 00:34, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

open source
[edit]Microsoft has promised to make some of it open source.
- some being the operative word here. Perhaps an open source cursor icon? Bawolff ☺☻ 05:29, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Somehow, I don't think that will happen and, I know you aren't stupid! No one knows the extent of this but, it can be assumed that it will be slightly more then a cursor (and for the record, a cursor is part of the o/s and not the program Symode09 11:36, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- okay that was a little bit extreme example. (However most internet programs can change the cursor. for example the css
cursor:
property. Although the underlying thing is OS). I still believe that they're are only going to release some minimal thing under some barely open source license, as otherwise they would be more specific. Microsoft doesn't have a good reputation in this area, so if they were going to do something major, they would blab about it to no end. Bawolff ☺☻ 23:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
