- The quote was in the New York Daily News source when I read the article, and Google is still showing it as there in the New York Daily News, in a search for the quote. Very odd. Cirt (talk) 02:33, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

- The article says he was cleared of one kind of assault and convicted of another. In my country, assault is the charge and varients tend to be obvious (e.g. 'assault to within danger of life'). - I'd guess the commonest distinction might be that misdemeanour could include throwing a few punches in a bar brawl. Felony more along the lines of 'intent to injure'. --Brian McNeil / talk 18:20, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
