Review progress

[edit]

Just a note: I've completed review of the Summary, which accounts for most of the synthesis sources and is therefore expected to be the slowest going. Alas, at this point I need sleep (it's approaching midnight where I am); I considered removing the {{under review}} tag overnight, but, well, didn't. --Pi zero (talk) 03:42, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done with Lesser-known DNC speakers discuss their experience. (Of course, there's always an overall sanity check at the end.) --Pi zero (talk) 15:19, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Guardian quote

[edit]

I feel the Guardian quote was an important element of the "Lesser-known..." story. Perhaps it could be rephrased: Others appreciated the speech as well. Ed Pilkington of the Guardian wrote, that it was not only "one of the most moving moments of the Democratic national convention [but] possibly [the most moving] of the entire 2012 presidential race."

--William S. Saturn (talk) 18:02, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

That one did bother me some; as you say, it's serving a significant function. I'll take a look; this probably works. --Pi zero (talk) 18:43, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yup. Works. You hit the nail on the head: in this particular context, it's reasonable to quote Pilkington's personal opinion, with the Guardian merely being where his opinion appeared. --Pi zero (talk) 20:16, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Review of revision 1652265 [Not ready]

[edit]
I changed it to "According to Miller, Ahmadinejad wanted it to be communicated to the American people that 'Globalists and Zionists falsely portray Iran, as they seek conflict between nations' and that Iran actually desires peace."

I think this clarifies that the words were Miller's.--William S. Saturn (talk) 03:35, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
