Talk:Professional baseball is back in Tucson, Arizona, thanks to relocation of Mexican team
Add topicTucson Saguaros
[edit]The article should mention the Tucson Saguaros in some capacity. The Tucson.com source mentions that they are a semi-professional team currently representing the city. GreekApple123 (talk) 15:05, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- I'm generally hesitant to recommend adding or changing content after publication, but you're welcome to add a statement about the Saguaros within the next 24 hours.
- I saw your request before publishing but chose not to delay the article for it. If you do add it, a reviewer might not be able to review and sight the change in time, so there's some risk in doing so post-publication. —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Reviewer) 16:09, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- I was able to sight your update in time. Thank you for sticking with the article! —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Reviewer) 20:56, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Review of revision 4859271 [Passed]
[edit]| |
Revision 4859271 of this article has been reviewed by Michael.C.Wright (talk · contribs) and has passed its review at 16:04, 22 May 2025 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: Paragraphs were re-ordered to follow the inverted pyramid style per WN:PYRAMID, and a sentence about the Tucson Sidewinders was removed due to its abrupt shift in flow of surrounding paragraphs. Archive URLs were added to preserve source accessibility. Statements previously presented in Wikinews voice were rephrased or removed where not directly supported by the cited sources. In particular, unsourced claims about the Saguaros' status were removed and generalizations about the reasons for the move were clarified. Attribution was added or clarified throughout to ensure evaluative or explanatory statements are tied to a named source or qualified party. Thank you for using {{Verify}}. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |

- I meant to mention in my review comments — your use of {{verify}} to flag the use of a non-English source was especially helpful. Reviewers often have to ask how such sources are being used, but in this case, the template made it immediately clear and saved time. Much appreciated. —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Reviewer) 21:07, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- That's particularly interesting to hear, and a little surprising. I think anything that allows for more information from nonconventional sources to be used in a clear and appropriate way is much-needed, so I will keep this in mind for future editing. GreekApple123 (talk) 21:24, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
