Redirects in mainspace need to be fully protected, for technical reasons. (Yes, there are slews of them than aren't yet; nevertheless we've started on the staggeringly huge task of fixing them, one at a time.) Having given this a careful looking-over, I'm closing this as not-done.

• As noted, most of the veteran Wikinewsies who touched this page were fine with it.
• There are no articles that link to it.
• There is a page that links to it, Help:Redirect, and in that context it makes sense.

While I don't get the joke, per se (see above discussion from 5 years ago); it was determined to be kept as is. I don't know if the joke would work if moved to Wikinews namespace. SVTCobra 20:37, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
