Final paragraph[edit]

Final paragraph not really covered by listed sources, they're assuming everyone reading are aware of the drought and its impact, for context I've linked to the wikipedia article on the drought as not everyone will be in the same position.--KTo288 (talk) 14:48, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

"Not really covered by listed sources" — translation: Not allowed on Wikinews. The sources are the sources: the list of sources documents the trust-worthy sources from which all the information in the article was drawn (except extremely obvious things, on the order of "Paris is in France" and "the Pope is Catholic"). --Pi zero (talk) 16:30, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

OR Notes[edit]

Phone contact with employee at Tyler State Park (Tyler, Texas) on 1/27/2012 at 8:54am (employee requested anonymity)......

Q: Can you tell me about the condition of the lake there today? A: "We're about 3 feet low."

Q: Everyone knows about the Director's recent press conference, I just wanted to make sure you guys were still in existence. A: (Laughs) "Oh yeah, we're not going anywhere. We're doing OK."

Q: What's the fishing status been like there for the past couple of weeks? A: "Well, we just stocked with trout a few days ago."

Article status[edit]

I've switched this back to {{develop}}, from {{review}}. It was awfully minimal when review was requested (by, it seems, a good Samaritan perceiving it as a synthesis article on its way to stale). Sorry if my status-flip causes further confusion. --Pi zero (talk) 15:37, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
