Americans have a seemingly identical bomb (at least the BLU-82). Since the media over there is controlled by the government, it's probably not the biggest. I mean, they probably lied about their new missiles too. And if the explosion is as big as a nuke's, doesn't that mean they are practically the same thing in warfare? I know that nukes have fallout and radiation wile conventional explosives don't, but using a explosive as powerful as that would still warrant nuclear retaliation. - Anyone reminded of a piece of fabric they put at the north pole? This, the cluster nukes, and the flag, indeed seem to be about collecting respect or attention, making themselves not seem weak. Is it to boost the morale of his people? Is it to attract allies? Or is it perhaps so that Russia doesn't seem weak? You can never know what goes through the heads of those commies in the Kremlin. They may be capitalizing (pun intended) on popular opinion being against the U.S., though NATO could beat Russia any day. No doubt that foreign relations of the U.S. will improve after the 08 elections.
What does it matter having a conventional explosive as powerful as a nuke? Do they really think that using one against a city would not provoke nuclear retaliation? Contralya 22:03, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
