Are we reporting the same news over and over again?[edit]
This stories all seem to be the same:
- "Steelmaker Corus to cut 2000 jobs in the UK and Netherlands" — Wikinews, June 25, 2009
- "2,000 face redundancy at English steelworks" — Wikinews, May 9, 2009
- "Thousands of jobs to go at Corus" — Wikinews, January 25, 2009
--SVTCobra 15:32, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- The January story is mentioned in the latest one as a previous round of redundancies. The May one seems to be the initial warning of what has been reported in today's story. So, they're the same, but the latest is the confirmation. --Brian McNeil / talk 15:36, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I didn't even check that! Dotty••|☎ 15:40, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- You wouldn't be expected to catch that one. Ideally the author does as linking back and referring to our earlier stories gives better continuity. --Brian McNeil / talk 15:53, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was at work and didn't have time to investigate. --SVTCobra 21:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
