I am pretty sure there are two main causes of school shootings: Stress, and being bullied. People seem to be un-aware of how common both verbal and physical bullying is in schools. And by verbal bullying, I mean things MUCH worse than name calling. Contralya 10:46, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this even happen? 151.188.16.17 11:02, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, student murder doesn't happen as much as it does with non-student adults. Contralya 11:08, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

that picture is of the university of delaware campus, not delaware state

According to WP, they are the same college, just different campuses. See: Delaware University so see that their campus is in Dover. Also please keep article concerns on the appropriate pages. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 12:56, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This may be an isolated incident, though. There's no sign that this is intended to be a mass shooting. Could be gang related for all we know.

It seems to me like traditional school shootouts end up with the shooter killing everyone in sight, rather than a group of bullies or something. And they always seem to shoot themselves in the end. This seems to be different and more like a reasonably planned murder than a typical 'school shootout'. Contralya 16:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
