As Team GB was introduced, the crowd went absolutely nuts with several players getting very loud cheers. Great Britain served first. --LauraHale (talk) 08:01, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ukraine took an early lead of 0-5 in the first set again GB. And then 0-6. When GB scored their first point, the crowd went nuts. And nuts again when they scored a second time to bring the score 2-6 with Ukraine winning.

Score went 6-9 with Ukraine still winning. Crowd remains into it and for the home side. --LauraHale (talk)

Announcer said this was the first time that GB was playing, and the court is much smaller so it requires faster response times. Ukraine is the number one ranked European team. --LauraHale (talk)

GB trails 9-20. At this point, they called a time out. In sitting volleyball, players sit much closer to the net.

Ukraine ahead 8-14. Ukraine does really good at blocking at the net and one of the reasons they are ahead. Score goes 8-15. Then 8-16. Then second technical time out.

After a time out, only one Ukraine player walked back on to the court.

GB got score to 17-21 and Ukraine called a time out. Only two Ukranian players standing. Though two on GB stood during time out.
