Notes[edit]

  • 'Deputy culture secretary at the Paris Town Hall, Christophe Girard told a press conference' - Was this the deputy culture secretary of France speaking at the Paris Town hall, the deputy culture secretary of Paris speaking at a press conference, or the deputy culture secretary of the Town Hall speaking at the conference?
  • 'The theft was discovered at approximately 7a.m. local time (9a.m. UTC) by museum staff.' UTC is behind Paris time, right? So, I think it should be 9 AM local, and 7 AM UTC, and use AM instead of 9a.m.
First corrected per his article on fr.wikipedia, second was my cack-handed (and backward) UTC offsetting. As for the last, I'm not sure what to do about that- I quit elike the quote, but there's nobody to attribute it to (hence "unnamed source"). Any thoughts?
