I mourn the quiet loss of this great man. His integrity, from where I stand, appears intact. I cannot say as much for my snide fellow commenters above.

This man could have been crushed and paralysed by guilt once he realized the enormity of his past errors, but he bravely sought to undo those wrongs. I mourn his passing. May he at last find peace.
