Courage and consciousness of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg shines through here and now

Perhaps hardly surprising for someone that has coped and survived with struggles as she has, and quoted to have said "I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a Constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the Constitution of South Africa." Truly an example for all to derive the most positive lessons and energy from. Thank you Justice Ginsburg.

I don't understand what she's even trying to say here. So, she really thinks the US constitution is that bad? And that the constitution of the rape capital of the world is something to be emulated? OK. Strange.

That the current constitution of the United States is not sufficient to afford even the majority of its citizens "the general Welfare and Blessings of Liberty" promised in 1787. Martin Luther King Jr's courageous "dream" speech expressed this in 1963 and very little "real" (ethical) changes have developed in the 50 years since.
