Military people are killed in training everyday around the globe. Is that information essential to wikinews ?

Define "need". The only thing either of us need to do is die. No way outta that yin. Newsworthiness is purposely set at a low threshold and people write about what they want. That said, I concur that this isn't a very major story. I'm tempted to mark it as.
