A rapper as president? I'm sure he has a lot of support but as charitable as he may seem towards Haitians, I'm sure he knows very little about Haitian politics or how to run any government at all. If I was Haitian, I would much prefer someone with real experience.

He hasn't done that well. Finances are at their worst, Section 8 and EBT claims are the highest they've ever been and the systems are being abused. You can't go into any state government building on most Fridays because they're closed due to budget cuts. And state employees have been getting paid with "IOU"s.

anybody with a better sense of humanity should be given the chance to run for any office regardless of his/her former career and place of birth, so and so forth. as i know the people of Haiti want to use rogue Constitution to disqualify jean not to run for the president office. It is high time the people of this generation reject such rogue declaration.
