Claimed region of the secessionist movement

A new project is forming a secessionist movement in Australia. The organisation is forming an autonomous government in northern Australia, with a government that puts a heavy focus on technological innovation. The organisation's website states there are over 348 "citizens" involved in the secessionist group, with a book titled "How to start your own Country" by Albert Marashi putting this figure at 780. The organisation recently launched a new a new website for PromaTimes

The organisation has also attracted attention from a number of popular Twitter accounts, including an investor and Special Economic Zone VC firm. The organisation runs a number of online social media communities where prospecting citizens are able to help out with the project, including a Twitter, Reddit, Facebook and Discord(a communication software).

Proposed organisation platform

The government has developed a constitution for the country, which will consist of a unitary state government with a direct democracy where every citizen would be directly involved with law-making. The organisation plans to have an online-voting platform on its website where citizens would be able to propose and vote on laws. According to the ministers behind the project, Promatia is also developing its own government software which includes banking, citizenship, education and other applications, however, this software does not currently appear functional, with only user registration available.

The group is scheduled to begin settlement of its proposed capital, Lumina (meaning Light in Latin) in four years, provided that they . According to the website, the city is named after Colonel William Light which founded the city of Adelaide in 1836. The project plans to fund settlement via the sale of settlement packages which would include land, accomodation, food, water and other amenities, citing the Ten Pound Poms scheme the Australian government used to increase migration growth. One minister behind the project, Robert, stated that the organisation drew inspiration from the South Australia Company which was the organisation that formed the South Australia colony, which also funded its settlement through land sales.

Currently, over 30 ministers and volunteer staff run the project.
