Thursday, July 22, 2010 (On Tuesday) the sixteenth stage of the Tour de France, tracing 199.5 km of mountainous terrain between Bagnères-de-Luchon, in Midi-Pyrénées, and Pau, in Aquitaine, saw the victory of Frenchman Pierrick Fédrigo followed by his compatriot Sandy Casar and Spaniard Rubén Plaza. Spaniard Alberto Contador keeps the yellow jersey (of the general classification leader) on his shoulders before the Tour's second rest day yesterday.
