The construction of multi - million pound media centre has got the go - ahead. The centre when built provide media facillities for high schools in Hexham, Prudhoe and Ponteland. It is going to built on the same site as the current Prudhoe Community High School.
Facilities will include a 100 seat cinema, a radio studio and a telvision studio.
It is also going to benifit the gerneral public. There are plans for cinema to be opened to the puplic in the evenings. The cinema is to seat 100 people and if the cinema is full, people will be able to watch the movies online.
