About your article Canadian Doctors Exposed[edit]

Hi there. Thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, it looks like the article you posted already exists on another website. Worse, it appears that you copied the text verbatim from that website onto Wikinews. This is generally unacceptable; all work submitted to Wikinews must be licensed appropriately.

Additionally, it appears the piece you submitted is very heavily biased. At Wikinews, we have a policy we call "Neutral Point of View", or NPOV. It's very important that your articles present only facts, and that opinions and biased phrases are completely eliminated. I wasn't able to identify any portion of your article that didn't meet this criteria.

In the future, your contributions will need to have a more central point of view. For example, positing that a doctor made a diagnosis from home in front of his TV needs to be back up by facts. An explanation offered by the doctor should also be included. Specifically authoring an article with only one point of view (the viewpoint of a husband whose wife was murdered) will not create publishable articles here on Wikinews.

Unfortunately, your article has now been deleted. If you're able to locate other sources (mainstream media, for instance) for your article, please give it another shot. Remember, everything you write on Wikinews must be written by you and not by anybody else. Generally, this means you need to type it while on the site.

Thank you again for your contributions. We hope to see you writing again. irid:t 17:00, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
