Add topicPlease dont threaten to block people. Whats worse is that your not an admin and tyhe user has already been blocked. Cut it out or you'll get your self blocked. We all at the minute have enough to do without people like you threating people. Just stop it.--MarkTalk to me 11:51, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- The correct course of action should have been to bring up your concern on WN:ALERT - at least if you hadn't already spotted people were on the case. Anyway, have a boilerplate - you might want a cup of tea while you read this...
- yup Welcome to Wikinews but please try and remain calm :-) --MarkTalk to me 12:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Blakegripling ph, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!
- Wikinews:Neutral point of view - tell every side to a story in a fair and balanced way
- Wikinews:Cite sources - everything in a Wikinews article must be sourced
Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:
- Wikinews:Introduction - overview of the site
- Wikinews:Writing an article - how to write and publish a complete article
- Wikinews:Content guide - what's suitable for Wikinews
- Wikinews:Contents - the contents page.
There are always things to do on Wikinews:
- Existing articles need expanding and checking for spelling and mistakes
- The front page lead articles often need updating
- Developing stories need finishing and publishing
- Discussions need your input
- Audio Wikinews could always use more contributors
- And of course, stories need writing!
By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Brian McNeil / talk 12:07, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]- Hi, Blake, I created the page ( 08:08, 29 January 2009), since when I opened the PC, I saw it, louder than the November Mumbai Taj Mahal hotel terrorist explosion. I lived in Meycauayan from 1953-1989; our Bishop Artemio Casas, D.D. was there in Imus Cavite. Seems you are in Wikipedia English and do more contributions there (I did there 6,700 edits from July 2007 to Nov. 22, 2008 when I was banned when I lost the battle against my very own co-Filipino and co-Ateneo de Manila University 3 guys, its all about personal hatred and enmity nothing about Wiki). But it was a blessing in disguise, since here, my edits are published unlike there. I notice that you are from Cavite and you were away here since (00:34, 16 August 2007 - 11:40, 29 January 2009:N Explosion in Cavite suburb kills at least 7, injuries 70). Cheers--Florentino Floro (talk) 07:23, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
