I try to treat each conversation as a separate entity, and I ask only that you try to be as civil toward me as I am toward you.

Hello[edit]
Glad to see you're editing over here on wikinews. I just wanted to tell you "you were right all along" it feels much better to have that first artical go up, than any vandalism. Have a look and tell me what you think, http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Federal_Air_Marshal%27s_cover_blown MyName 02:31, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks.[edit]
Cool thing about being a radio broadcaster. Maybe when I get my Wikipedia Permission back I do an article about you (Ron Kirk I believe?). Good luck with the Iraq shooting article. (Watch out for 3 revert:) MyName 02:48, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Q?[edit]
RadioKirk, do you give a thumbs up to the title change discussed here? http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Talk:US_troops_kill_pregnant_Iraqi_woman_in_car_entering_%22no-go%22_zone#POV MyName 03:23, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
This account is being blocked as an impersonation account.[edit]
Please ask a bureaucrat to change your account name, if you'd like to retain the account's edit history. This block is based on Wikinews:Username, including a statement from w:User:RadioKirk. This was discussed with you in IRC within a few moments of your creation of this account, and you were asked then to request an account name change. - Amgine | talk en.WN 03:59, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Mea Culpa, just discovered this has been repaired. Unblocked (again.) - Amgine | talk en.WN 04:11, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- LOL, 'sokay, I've expected it. :) RadioKirk talk to me 04:22, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Re:POV[edit]
I noticed that you started a discussion about changing the title of the article about the Iraqi woman who was killed by U.S soldiers, and later went ahead with the change based on the fact that no objections wre made within 6 hours. Please keep in mind the fact that people may be editing from different timezones and it is likely that some of them (including me, editing from GMT +5:30) were asleep during those particular six hours. In future I would suggest that you allow atleast 24 hours for people to participate in the discussion so that the time difference does not become an issue. PVJ (Talk) 09:35, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called RadioKirk. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name RadioKirk~enwikinews that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
