Welcome[edit]

Shane.Bell, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!–Doldrums(talk) 11:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

Twice today your comments have left me chuckling. First the one on Bush's condemnation of Iran, second on the gas/galaxy collision.

Keep throwing peanuts out the cheap seats. ;-P --Brian McNeil / talk 09:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Supposed right to be forgotten[edit]

So far, most of your removals that I've checked were opinions that had not been replied to, and as such I see no possible objection to their removal. Noting, there is no right to be forgotten per se on Wikinews. I'm in some mild doubt about opinions that have been replied to, especially if the replies seem incoherent without what they're replying to. Some of the stuff you're removing is on talk (aka collaboration) page; I haven't checked those yet, but since article talk pages should be substantively related to the composition of the articles, I have further reservations about those (subject, of course, to examining them one-by-one). --Pi zero (talk) 22:03, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
