Tedlipien, welcome to Wikinews! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Brian McNeil / talk 21:53, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Inline links/references[edit]

Hi, just a quick comment on our conventions on offsite links. General practice is to place all links to non-Wikimedia sites in an == External links == section at the bottom of the article after the == Sources == section. Your VOA article is also missing Categories. --Brian McNeil / talk 09:12, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

identity confirmation[edit]

Wikinews needs to confirm that you are indeed Ted Lipien. one simple way to do this is to send an e-mail to an accredited user or an administrator from an e-mail address verifiable as that of Mr. Lipien (such as one posted on your website). confirming your identity, of course, will go a long way in lending credibility to the original reporting claim on the VOA journalists article. –Doldrums(talk) 15:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
