Wikinews:2025 Boost publication rate
In January 2025 it was proposed[1] that en.WN coordinate efforts to revitalize Wikinews by boosting our publication rate. A vote[2] was used to guide discussion and gauge consensus, not to define it.
The overall goal of this project is to increase our publication rate as defined by the average number of articles published each month.
As previously mentioned, there will be no single fix. This project will be a collection of projects that the community undertakes. This page and its subpages will serve as organization and collaboration tools.
Update, November 14, 2025: No consensus was ever reached on pursuing any major project; only the Monthly Top Article challenge was launched and continues.
