Wikinews:Easy Peer Review (2025 version)/Notification prefarences

From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!

Hello editor, You can specify your preferences for receiving review notifications posted on your talk page by the EzPR 2025 gadget. Use the template below, fill in the parameters according to your preference, and add it to this page under the "User Preferences" section to apply your settings.

Please note that this configuration only applies to notifications sent through EzPR 2025. Messages sent manually or through other gadgets are not affected.

{{Review notice preference
| user = YourUserName
| notify_authored_articles = yes/no
| notify_major_edits = yes/no
| notify_last_major_edit = yes/no
| notify_all_edits = yes/no
| disabled = no
}}

Parameter explanation

[edit]

These parameters control when you receive review notification messages.

  • user

Your username written in plain text (for example: UserName).

  • notify_authored_articles

If set to yes, you will receive notifications for articles you created. If set to no, you will not receive notifications for your own articles.

  • notify_major_edits

If set to yes, you will receive notifications if you made a major contribution to an article (more than 8 edits). If set to no, you will not receive notifications for major contributions.

  • notify_last_major_edit

If set to yes, you will receive notifications if you made the last five edits on an article before review.

  • notify_all_edits

If set to yes, you will receive notifications for any article you edited, regardless of how many edits you made.

  • disabled

If set to yes, all review notification messages will be disabled for you. This works as an alternative to the {{NOREVIEWNOTIFICATIONS}} template. If this parameter is set to yes, all other parameters will be ignored.
