Rhode Island made a strong case for keeping the company within its borders, offering a parcel in the new I-95 Redevelopment District for $1, but the pull of Boston's innovation prowess and talent pool was too influential to overcome. Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey said, "We are thrilled that Hasbro has chosen Massachusetts as the home of its new headquarters, and we’re ready to support the hundreds of jobs they will create here.” said. “We’re proud to welcome this iconic company to Team Massachusetts — where we are number one for education, health care and innovation. I’m grateful for the leadership of Chris Cocks and his team at Hasbro, and for the hard work of my economic development team that helped make this possible.”

The company expects to move its workforce of 700 full-time employees by the end of 2026.

ShSMC Sandhani unit opens registration for 2023-24, draws large student turnout

Description: Dhaka, Bangladesh — The Sandhani unit at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College (ShSMC) officially opened its registration for the 2023-24 academic session on Sunday, attracting around 40 students from the SH-19 (MBBS) and SHD-13 (BDS) batches.

The session primarily aimed to inform new students about Sandhani's mission and activities in voluntary blood donation and other social health services.
