Wikinews:Watching pages

From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!

Highly recommended:

1) Subscribe to Wikinews:Water cooler/assistance and stay logged in, and keep a wiki open (this can be a sister wiki such as Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons). This allows you to help other users to edit their articles. Timely, prompt assistance helps a lot on a news site.

Suggested:

2) Subscribe to all water coolers.

2) Subscribe to Wikinews:Requested articles and respond promptly to any new requests there.

3) Visit the Wikinews:Newsroom every day and if a topic scope is familiar (your favourite country or region; your favourite topic such as politics or science or some other) then make any edits you think are useful, and subscribe to the article and its talk page.

-) Subscribe to article and their talk page for any articles you edited. Manually.

4) Check your Preferences::Watchlist::"Watch threads that I create or reply to" is enabled.

5) Check your Preferences::Watchlist::"Add pages and files I edit to my watchlist" is enabled.

6) Check your Preferences::Editing::Discussion pages::"Enable quick replying" is enabled.

7) Setup Echo notifications to be delivered by email.

Experiment: matrix for project leaders (and anyone else interested)
