Reinstatement of rights without an RfA[edit]

Whilst appreciating that we want to avoid excessive bureaucracy, I don't agree that admins who's rights are removed due to inactivity should be able to have these restored without first recieving the backing of the community. On this basis, I oppose the sentence: "They may be requested again (without a RfA) from any bureaucrat." I unsure whether this additional page is required or whether this could fit into the existing processes on WN:A. The "Requests for de-adminship" would seem to fit the purpose as has been demonstrated by the recent removal of rights from User:PVJ59. Adambro 23:43, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I based that sentence on MessedRocker's reinstatement of Adminship, but that was because he resigned. Bit of an oversight on my part. Thunderhead - (talk - email - contributions) 05:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)q[reply]
