Wikinews talk:Tsunami Help/Edit templates

From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!

This page is laid out very similarly to Tsunami Help, and contains links to most of the templates used in that page. Using templates lets many people work on a single page at the same time, without causing as many editing conflicts. It also gets the page to update more quickly when people load it. Please use the links here to edit the templates which hold information on the Tsunami Help page.

At the top of this section is the Tsunami Help Welcome template. It may be edited at {{THwelcome}}.

Latest information

The next element is the "Blog blurbs" template. This template should be updated often! An external link with a recent blog entry title, and possibly a sentence about the entry. Add new entries at the top! old entries should be deleted from the bottom regularly. Edit at {{THblogblurbs}}.

The next link is the latest news template from the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami news portal. This template is already updated often, with the latest Wikinews articles about the Tsunami. This template should not be edited except to add a link to a brand new Wikinews article. Edit at {{IOTlatest}}.

In this block is the Tsunami Help menu. This template will rarely require updating. Remember to keep things simple to make it easier to find information. Edit at {{Tsunami Relief Effort}}

The sources are News articles which talk about Tsunami Help and Blog, and are currently in the main page, and may be edited (be very careful here!) at Tsunami Help Information about how to cite a news article as a source can be found in Wikinews:Writing an article.

The bottom donation is for Wikinews, and should not be edited. Additional page content can be added, but make sure Amgine is informed of it so more templates can be created.
