How to handle individual missing people[edit]

The odd details of a missing individual look out of place on the page: should they have a separate section ?

Preferably divided by country or region ?

Potentially, there are thousands of entries out there, and they will predictably swamp all other useful items & links !

Hi! you found the perfect spot for this kind of question.
The Tsunami Help volunteers are arranging the pages as they see fit. They're all volunteers, and are dealing with a massive influx of information and doing a fabulous job of rearranging and sorting that information so it is understandable and accessible. These pages are receiving hundreds of changes a day, and are constantly developing.
If you would like to be part of this project, you can jump in and edit what you see fit, or you might follow the links to the Tsunami Help blog and get in touch with the people organizing this project. Thanks again for your additions here! - Amgine 05:59, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)

PEOPLEMATCH.RC.TV - AN INTERNET FACE RECOGNITION SERVICE OFFERS HOPE TO DESPERATE FAMILIES OF TSUNAMI VICTIMS

The PeopleMatch system has the ability to place up to 1,700 unique characteristics for an individual face in its database. It will then match these points with similar points from an uploaded facial photo. Upon verification, the system will call up a set of photos that matches the victim. A team of RC Group's and Ftec's volunteers are currently operating in the main hospitals and emergency centers in Phuket, Thailand, to take photos of victims of the ordeal.

Any close matches will be sent to you via email or SMS. Please upload a clear headshot photo in jpeg format only.
